Senior QA Engineer SuccessFactors, Inc

• Manage and lead the PM module QA team of 5 ~ 7 members based in Shanghai and India. Functionally report to the QA manager based in US.

• Worked in US (San Mateo, CA) for a month.

• Maintain and execute the regression-testing suite.

• Develop test strategies for new features.

• Monitor the development process.

• Provide support to professional service and customer success teams, and help troubleshoot issues in field.

• Work with our vendor to automate the regression tests.

Project Lead IPCBU, Cisco Systems (China) Research and Development Co., Ltd

• Develop automation scripts for a few features of the TNP phones.

• Lead and manage the RT phone automation project.

• Develop the framework and test suites for RT Lite phones alone.

• Do performance testing for RT Lite phones.

Localization Project Admin Globalization Lab, Cisco Systems (China) Research and Development Co., Ltd

• Work as project manager, managing localization projects for internal teams and dealing with outside language service providers.

• Maintain and optimize translation memory, provide technical support for globalization and localization.

• Work as QA engineer to test the whole product, from design, plan, document, test environment setup, conducting tests, to report.

• Work as lab admin to help set up and maintain both QA and development environment.

• Coordinate work between offshore teams and make sure project is on time and with high quality.

• Work also includes lab support and quality assurance.

• Set up both manual and automation testing environment on Solaris and Windows systems, and troubleshoot if needed.

• Perform function testing and automation testing using Robot.

• Get involved in process of CMMI-3 appraisal.

• Start and apply Agile methodology within the team to line up with BMC.

• Communicate with dev and QA from BMC in US, Indian, and Israel. And coordinate work between offshore teams to make sure of high-quality and on-schedule delivery.

• Develop I18N test plan, test matrix and training plan in light of master test plan and requirements.

• Develop post-project report.

• Craft test cases.

• Lab support and software test, including language enable testing, pseudo-localization testing, localization testing. Focus on Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Partially test on French and German.

Software Engineer HOS Dept R&D, Harbour Networks Ltd

• Work includes test NTP module on Flex series products against NTP protocol and rival’s (Cisco) products.

• Perform function, pressure, and interface testing. And develop test cases and TCL scripts for automation testing.

• Simulating attacking using tools like Sniffer.

• Cooperate with developers to re-create and figure out problems.
